September should be a time for new notebooks, full pencil cases, and the excitement of potential. For too many of our students, however, it’s a time of fear and anxiety. They watch their peers arrive fully prepared, while they must ask for pencils, look for paper, or try to get by with less.

The Reality in Murray School District
The economic reality facing our families is stark. As costs rise, a simple pack of markers or a new backpack becomes an impossible luxury for some of our friends and neighbors. This is a crucial gap, and its impact is quantifiable.
When a student goes to school unprepared, the consequences are severe. This problem creates a cascade effect of negative outcomes that can derail their entire educational experience.

That’s why we partner with businesses, community organizations, and people like you. Our campaigns ensure that students in our district start school with every tool they need to succeed. But we cannot do this work alone.
Here’s How You Can Make a Difference

Our school supply drives typically run from July through September each year. This is a critical time to act and ensure that our kids are ready on day one.
